I loved the charm of the rooms, quality and cleanliness of the bathrooms. I also appreciated the staff at the Boutique Sint Jacob. We opted not to have our rooms cleaned as we only stayed for a night and the following day/night, so the staff we met was in the kitchen. We didn't choose the breakfast option, but we did meet them when making inquiries. The two individuals we met, were very welcoming, and helpful.

One of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, picturesque Maastricht has an international feel. Not only can you walk to Belgium and bike to Germany, this town also gave birth to the European Union and euro currency following the 1992 Maastricht Treaty.
Its largest square – Vrijthof – houses the twin churches of St. Jan and St. Servaas, a theater and several sidewalk cafes. Various festivals and the Magic Maastricht Christmas markets are also held here. Markt square is home to the Flemish-style town hall, a twice-weekly market and even more restaurants and bars offering great nightlife.
The excellent shopping options in Maastricht include unique shops on the cobbled Old Town streets, exclusive boutiques on Stokstraat, and the Entre Deux and Mosae Forum shopping centers. Dotted among these is Booking.com’s wide range of Maastricht accommodations.
Well-preserved city walls surround the Old Town and run close to the Maas River where boat trips are available. Before flying out of Maastricht Aachen Airport, don’t miss the fine art by Rubens and Van Dyck in the Bonnefanten Museum, a modern building reflecting the area’s pottery heritage.

What a pretty city in the eastern region of The Netherlands!
What a pretty city in the eastern region of The Netherlands! My husband and I explored the city on foot for three days and discovered lovely shops, wonderful coffeeshops (check out Fixed Gear if you are a cyclist), and interesting restaurants. Every meal we had in the town was delicious, and the locals were unfailingly accommodating.

It has a very bright and cozy Christmas atmosphere.
It has a very bright and cozy Christmas atmosphere. Beautiful historical areas. There are many parks and green areas to walk through. A lot of hidden gems on the outskirts of the city - definitely worth hopping on the bus from one end to the other and discovering what lies outside of the city center. Must try the breakfast menu from Coffeelovers Plein 1992.

A grand historic location not overrun by tourists.
A grand historic location not overrun by tourists. Loved not having seen huge tour busses and gobs of people following your standardised tour guidess. One doesn't have to walk far to 'get lost' in quite narrow allayes without any tourists. I was actually surprised how peaceful the town was and we did visit it on a weekend. Hance the lack of tourists, maybe that is why it was so clean? The city also offers a pleasant shopping experience. The stores are nicely spread out in numerous streets, so that you can combine a historic tour with the occasional peek in a strore. Loved the city and would gladly return.

Maastricht is a hidden treasure and should be on everyones list to visit. The tours of the underground tunnels, the history of the town itself are all fascinating. The architecture is soooooo old and captivating, everywhere you look is history. You can walk anywhere around this beautiful little town and be awed by its beauty. The restaurants we tried were terrific and the staff full of characters and openly friendly people. I loved it. I will be coming back one day.
We had a great experience! The hotel was in a very quiet location, just outside the city, easy to reach by bus (both from the central station and the city centre). Plenty of parking space and also bikes available to rent. We had the biggest suite with even an indoor sauna! The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was really good, it is served at the table and it is a great way to reduce food waste.
The students running the hotel were very welcoming and so polite and nice! They helped us get the best out of our booking!
This hostel was really exceptional. I just needed a place to stay for two nights while being in Maastricht for work. So a bed is all I asked for, but while that was delivered, the offered breakfast, internet and the common place was great. The breakfast was also not your typical hotel/hostel breakfast. On the contrary, I would love to know their paprika pesto recipe.
A lovely Hotel in the absolute center of Maastricht, that is also a restaurant. I had a very comfy stay with a modern room and an incredible view of the Market plaza from the balcony. Staff were all very nice and helpful, making this stay of mine 10/10. I would absolitely recommend anyone to stay at la Bourse.
Loved the hotel! Very comfortable and close to everything! my friend and I enjoyed it very much and the breakfast was delicious! the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I will return the next time I’m in beautiful Maastricht! Thank you for the amazing experience.
We stay in Maastricht quite often. Finally found a decent alternative to the hotel where we used to stay often before. Beautiful view of the lake with ducks from the room, quite acceptable breakfasts. Parking is included in the price, which is a rarity for Maastricht.
The hotel has everything needed for a short stay. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is in front of the central station and only 5 min away from the city centre. The hotel is surrounded by stores, bars and restaurants
Very easy parking..Not far away from the center..excellent restaurant with different options..Breakfast is very good..The rooms and the hotel is very clean..Would definitely go back..
